Teddy Passed His Canine Good Citizen Test!

We have some happy news to share, and it comes with a wagging tail. Teddy passed his Canine Good Citizen test!

A little background. When Teddy was a puppy, he had a friendly, loving, gentle personality, but he had a hard time containing all that excitement. We knew right away that he would make an excellent therapy dog someday. So we partnered with an incredibly talented dog trainer for weekly sessions to help him practice his good behavior.

After meeting consistently for several months, Teddy was finally eligible to take the Canine Good Citizen test. And to our amazement, he passed with flying colors. That's our boy!

Congratulations, Teddy! We could not be prouder of this little ray of sunshine on four paws.

We hope Teddy can visit hospitals and shelters as a therapy dog someday. That takes more training and a separate therapy-dog evaluation, so for now we are simply proud of how far he has come. Stay tuned! 💛
