Christmas Sunshine for the Women's Shelter

Our Christmas 2025 shelter delivery brought more than 35 devotional books, handwritten cards, a new Keurig, and 50 candy bags for the children. Sometimes sunshine just shines brighter in December. 💛

Wrapped with a personal touch

We chose the devotional books for their messages of hope and encouragement, something each woman could keep and return to in her own time.

And we could not just hand them over plain! Every book was wrapped in Christmas paper and tied up with decorative ribbon and glittery sprigs for a little pop of elegance. We tucked handwritten cards in with the gifts, too. We wanted each woman to feel like she was opening something made just for her, because it was.

A warm cup and something for the kids

We also left a brand new Keurig at the shelter, so the women can enjoy a warm cup whenever they need one. Sometimes comfort looks like a good book and a hot coffee.

The kids were not forgotten either. Teddy sent along 50 candy bags, one for each of them, with his picture smiling from every single bag.

To the women and kids at the shelter: you are loved, you are seen, and we are cheering for you. Merry Christmas from all of us at Operation Floating Sunshine. 💛
