A Sprinkle of Sunshine for the Children's Ward
Being in the hospital as a kid can be tough. So this month, for our balloon subscription delivery, we sent a little sunshine floating down the halls of the children's ward at the Reading hospital.
On October 2, we delivered feel better balloons, smiley faces, unicorns, and Spider-Man, each one anchored by a Teddy the dog balloon weight and carrying a tag that says, "You are capable of amazing things." Because every kid in that ward truly is.
Here's our favorite part. One of our Sunshine Squad volunteers, a first grader who wanted to spread kindness, hand-wrote a card for every single kid. Little hands, big heart, and envelopes full of hellos, hearts, and sunshine.
A balloon can't fix a hard day. But a small sprinkle of sunshine can lift spirits, and we're so grateful we got to deliver some. 💛
