Christmas brings us together to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
For some, it's a hard season: a loss, a diagnosis, loneliness.
This Christmas, we're bringing sunshine into the dark places.
$5 a balloon. A sprinkle of sunshine for someone this Christmas.
For our neighbors in children's homes, nursing homes and women's shelters, so they know they are seen, loved, and remembered.

Each balloon is priced a little above cost, and anything left over goes toward more balloons. How your money is used
Christmas is a season for coming together: family and friends celebrating the birth of Jesus and making memories that last a lifetime. For some of our neighbors it is also a hard season. The loss of someone they love, a diagnosis they weren't expecting, a life that changed without warning, or simply being alone.
For four weeks, Operation Floating Sunshine is raising funds to bring sunshine into those places. Every $5 sends one balloon to a neighbor in a nursing home, a children's home or a women's shelter: a sprinkle of sunshine, and a reminder that they are seen, loved, and remembered this Christmas.
We don't name the homes and shelters we visit. The people who live there deserve their privacy, and we'll only share photos of the deliveries that keep it.
There's no goal for this one. We want to send as many balloons as we can, and however many you help us fund, every one of them goes to someone who needs it. Giving closes at midnight on November 30.

Operation Floating Sunshine is a registered 501(c)(3), EIN 42-3646099. Your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent the law allows.
Your donation is charged right away and goes straight to this event. Each balloon is priced a little above cost, and the extra covers shipping, sales tax and surprises.
There is no goal to fall short of. We are sending as many balloons as this raises, and every one goes to someone who needs it. Anything left over after the last delivery goes toward more balloons for our neighbors in nursing homes, children's homes and women's shelters.
